NO RESTRAINT is an upcoming art exhibition, curated by Kristine Schomaker. This exhibition will focus on artists who explore a wide range of materials in their art practice beyond the traditional mediums. Work chosen for this exhibition will show influences from Dada, Arte Povera, Pop Art, Conceptual Art, Assemblage, Process Art and more.

SELECTION
15 – 20 artists will be selected for this group show, and one artist will be selected for a future solo exhibition at ARK Gallery.

DATES and DEADLINES
Deadline for Entries: August 18, 2017
Drop off: September 13^th 3-7pm
Opening Reception: September 17th, 2017, 3-6pm
Exhibition on view: September 17^th to October 28^th
Closing Reception: October 28^th 2-4pm
Pick up artwork: October 29^th 3-6pm

By Appointment Only

ELIGIBILITY
Southern California Artists. Must be able to drop off work. No shipping.

ENTRY FEES
A nonrefundable entry fee of $30 for up to 3 artworks.
Artists are encouraged to enter the maximum number of images allowable for the entry fee.
Payment is required at the time of entry.

MEDIA
Anything goes – no restraint. Wall hung work must have wire or D-rings. May also be free-standing. All sizes will be considered.

SALES
60% to artist, 40% to gallery
